I have learned from my experience acting in shows, in theatre class, and watching performances that the energy of a show is very important. It can affect the audience, the cast, and therefor the entirety of the performance. I really learned this last year in Rumors, where our performance was severely hindered by a drop in the energy of the ensemble, which that show really depended upon. In order to pick the energy back up we had to work together as a cast in a collective effort. I am finding this to be true for Oliver as well, and I hope we can make the next shows better by picking up our energy and focus.
